The Indalo Hash House Harriers

The Indalo Hash House Harriers (Indalo H3) are a small, but keen, hash group, we meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. Our members range from teenagers, to people in their 70s (and therefore should know better).

The area we cover is from Mojácar to San Juan on the coast, and Serón to Vélez-Blanco inland, and anywhere between.

We normally have two routes: a main (for the more energetic or clinically insane) and a mini (for the walkers or lazy folk) and are usually between 5-8km. There may be a mid-way refreshment stop, but there certainly is one at the end, alcoholic or not, the choice is yours.

After the run, and ‘rehydration’, we have the ‘circle’ where the fun continues, announcements are made and ‘down-downs’ awarded. From there we may go to an ‘on-after’.

Hashing is NON-COMPETITIVE, therefore, you can run, jog, stroll or stagger, whether you’re a teenager or getting on a bit, you can join in.

The basic aim of the hash is to HAVE FUN, and at the same time, encourage a bit of exercise, without over doing it. We welcome all shapes and sizes, in all stages of degeneration.

Latest News

Really sorry, but I’m sure you understand, we’re cancelling this weekend’s hash (May 28) due to the weather forecast being terrible and the rambla where we were going to lay the trail is flooded.
